PHOENIX Project Presented at the “Science in Action – Innovation Fair” in Novi Sad

On September 19, 2025, the Science and Technology Park in Novi Sad (Serbia) hosted the “Science in Action – Innovation Fair”, an inspiring event organized within the Empower Innovation project, led by NALED with the support of Philip Morris International and the BIO4 campus.

The fair showcased more than 20 innovative scientific solutions ready for market implementation, developed by research teams and startups from institutions such as the Faculty of Technical Sciences, the BioSense Institute, and NTP Novi Sad. Among the highlighted technologies were edible biosensors made from food waste, smart buoys and AI drones for Danube River monitoring, precision fertilization systems, and biosensors for detecting heavy metals.

The PHOENIX Project team from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, actively participated in the event, presenting the project’s goals, research activities, and progress in the field of sustainable and market-oriented innovation. Through its presence, the team fostered collaboration with researchers, students, and industry representatives, emphasizing the project’s role as a bridge between advanced research and practical applications.

Visitors were able to learn more about the project through informative flyers and visual materials, with a branded roll-up banner highlighting PHOENIX’s identity and mission within the EU-funded research ecosystem.
