Phoenix-OoC Project Presented at the 9th International Workshop on Materials Physics in Bucharest
The 9th International Workshop on Materials Physics (IWMP) took place in the period May 14-16, 2024, in Bucharest, Romania, bringing together leading researchers and experts in advanced materials and healthcare-related technologies. The event fostered international collaboration, featuring participants from countries such as Brazil, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, the UK, and Romania. Key topics included biomaterials, development of novel sensors for biomedical applications, and innovative approaches to drug formulation.
Prof. Fabiana Arduini from Tor Vergata University Rome, Project Coordinator of the Phoenix-OoC project, was an invited speaker with her oral presentation on the group’s work on paper-based electrochemical (bio)sensors. These sensors, developed within the Phoenix-OoC project, are recognized for their cost-effectiveness, portability, and ease of use, with promising applications in healthcare, particularly for point-of-care diagnostics and personalized medicine.
The presentation received significant interest, underscoring the potential of the Phoenix-OoC project to contribute to advancements in biomedical technology.
